2000
ESTABLISHED
MSTS was established in Melaka on 5th January 2000 and became the first OPITO approved training centre in Malaysia through our joint venture with the Maritime Academy Malaysia (ALAM)
2001
DESIGNED
MSTS designed and constructed a purpose-built training barge at Muhibbah engineering Port
2002
MADE OFFICIAL
MSTS training centre was officially opened on 26th September 2002 by Minister of Human Resource Malaysia.
2003
ESTABLISHED
MSTS established a fully integrated training centre at Kampung Pulau Melayu in Miri Sarawak
2004
ACCREDITATED
MSTS was the first centre in Asia to gain OPITO accreditation for advanced emergency response training
2005
MSTS became the first training centre in gain OPITO for advanced helideck emergency response training
2006
AWARDED
MSTS won the industrial excellence award MITI for excellence in export services 2006

ACHIEVEMENT
MSTS became the first centre in Asia to gain OPITO accreditation for Control Room Operator making our range of Emergency Management approvals complete.

SUPPORT
MSTS established a training centre and clinic in Pengerang to support the construction and development of Pengerang Integrated Complex

CONSTRUCTION
We started the construction of our new fully integrated training in Cherating Pahang

Our Group acquired Crescent and renamed as RelyOn Nutec Digital enabling MSTS to offer a full range of E-Learning programmes to our customers.
2021

Andy Paterson
Over 30 years experience in emergency response training in various positions. Certified Training Professional and expert on implementing OPITO and a wide range of international accreditations.
Thangaveloo
Over 35 years experience in the field of firefighting and emergency response training both in military aviation and oil & gas industries.
As a certified trainer and competence assessor, he develops and conducts a wide range of OPITO, STCW and CAAM firefighting training.
Ahmad Brodie Bin Abdullah
Over 10 years experience in delivering skill development and emergency response training. A qualified Rigger with offshore and onshore experience. As a certified trainer and competence assessor, he conducts training in various skill development and emergency response related modules.
Richard Ng
Over 30 years experience in conducting training with 14 of those in emergency response , HSE & skills over various locations worldwide. A certified assessor and internal verifier, he is responsible for the development and attainment of multiple approvals for international training accreditations including maintaining the accreditation master files. He is also responsible for the development and verification of training personnel.
Awang Sofian
Over 10 years experience in firefighting and emergency response training. A qualified fire fighter with Royal Malaysia Air force . As a certified trainer and competence assessor approved by OPITO and STCW, he conducts a variety of fire related modules.
Osman
Over 10 years experience in emergency response training in various worldwide locations worldwide. A qualified Marine Engineer with seagoing experience. As a certified trainer and competence assessor, he delivers a wide range of training and assessment approved by OPITO, GWO and STCW.
